January External Examinations
From Tuesday 6th January 2026 to Wednesday 28th January 2026, we have a series of external examinations for Year 12 and 13 students Cambridge Technical Qualifications. Period 7 lessons will be collapsed until examinations are over so if students have afternoon sessions, they will leave at 2.55pm. Students have been given their examination timetables, but the schedule can also be found on the website. Students do not have study leave for these examinations and should be in the academy as normal if not taking an examination except for Thursday January 8th 2026 and Tuesday January 13th 2026 where if they are not taking an examination, they will be required to work at home on their coursework or revising for examinations. Core Aspire students will still attend the academy as normal.
Students may wish to refresh their knowledge of the JCQ exam rules and regulations which have been provided in a pack to all students sitting examinations at Harris Professional Skills Sixth Form. Please ensure that with the cold weather and possible traffic issues, that your son or daughter makes every effort to get into the academy on time for examinations.
Morning Examination start time: 8.45am
Afternoon Examination start time: 1.15pm
